The 12 Monkeys film is basically about a man who apparently is in the future where a virus killed most of humanity and they basically send him back in time to fix things and find out where the virus originated so they can find a cure and save themselves in the future, but then he ends up in a mental hospital and they tell him he's crazy and that's basically the plot we don't know if he's just crazy or if everything about the virus is true , he kept dreaming about him being at an airport and seeing someone run with a suitcase and a man die with another women staring at him. until the end of the movie where we find out it was all true and it wasn't a dream, it was a memory that was him as a kid and the man chasing the suitcase guy was him trying to stop the virus from spreading and the police shot him in the back. so basically its a loop for him he sees himself die every time.  In total 2 minutes and 26 seconds were used for the opening scene of 12 Monkeys. Basically in the opening scene they first off show how people wearing quarantine suits are washing him fully naked with soap and from distance like as if he had something weird on him then we can see as they say " Mr. Coles quarantine has been completed" then they introduce us to his violent past and explain he's a prisoner which gives us some more type pf character, afterwards they mention he can be an ESSENTIAL part to RESTORING HUMANITY so at this point the viewer knows something is wrong because of all the scenes and script reads so far and then they show he is kind of in a slave/ weird obedience behavior showing they aren't as nice as they seem. It introduced us to the main character, it hints the main plot, and has ALOT of foreshadowing.

JUSTICE LEAGUE ( animated movie )

Basically this movie begins where the last one finished and it shows as they have what seems as a threat but nothing to crazy and the justice league goes to defend the planet earth and accidentally underestimated the plans of the enemy and superman loses his powers, batman becomes a mental slave of dark side and the entire league gets defeated the majority of them die in horrible ways with a lot of carnage and the few that survive are in either horrible condition or no longer even have there will to live. as the movie progresses we realize batman is very strong mentally and somewhat has control over his actions and under the shadows gives information to the remaining heroes left and we see as they make a counter attack for one last time in an attempt to defeat darkside, superman gets his powers back and holds darkside but wont be able to contain him for long so raven released her fathers seal which is devourer of worlds and they fight, while they fight the league escapes and blow the planet up, but when they "win" they realize everyone is dead and there's no turning back no, so flash decided to go back in time and prevent everyone from dying. the movie ends with him running back in time. In total 4:26 were used for the opening scene of this movie. It shows some side characters seeing things that are not really there and end up doing horrible things for no reason and you can see as the heroes are thinking about it, well some are, others just think of the person as a genocide committer, but some have that planted doubt. To introduce the audience to the main problem of the film and start planting curiosity in the viewers minds.

LORD OF THE RINGS

SUMMARY , Basically the lord of rings is about an all powerful ring that ends up being in possession  of an innocent "hobbit" and his mission is to destroy the ring because it leads to all root of all evil and it quite literally drives anyone crazy for it and having it in there possession now that t comes with riches, power, and more. In total 4 minutes and 26 seconds were used for this opening scene of lord of the rings. The opening scene basically explains that there were 9 rings made for man and 3 made for the elf's: the most powerful and wise beings but in reality they were all tricked and there was another ring made, one that was the root to all power, richness, but most importantly evil craziness. It mainly helps the audience understand thast the movie is going to be based around realistic fantasy or fiction involving war/action and portrays the main problem as the ring of all power.
